I DEFEND!, and I LOVE what I do. there are few things in life as rewarding as helping a person through a difficult period in their life. There is a certain joy and excitement that comes with helping a person overcome adversity. The Virginia State Bar does not allow attorneys to claim that they are experts in a particular field of law- but I constantly study the law; and talk about the law with my friends and family. I converse with colleuges about interpretations of statutes and case law; and we often debate public policy versus strict interpretations.
