Exceptional legal counselor, advocate and barrister

I honestly won't be able to fit all the good things there are to say about Mrs. Pedersen and her firm into this review. She picked up my extremely difficult case, listened to all the details and complications, interpreted the matter in its full complexity and translated it into a simple path of succ...ess. I found her to be irreproachable in all matters, while unequivocally advocating and fighting for my family and our long-term, best interest. I would recommend her for any and all family matters: local, county, state, federal or international. She was always found to be prepared for hearings with a clear and convincing plan while her ability to advocate in the court house and the court room, before the hearing, throughout the hearing and all the other times afterwards, was simply outstanding. She is highly respected and is constantly working your case, even when you aren't present. This is a powerful combination. In Williamsburg, if you want what is good and right for your family and your family's future, then based on my experience, her firm is the one to choose.

Not a nice person, forces you into settlement terms

Completely awful experience from start to finish. She was hard to get ahold of, and when I would speak to her office two of the staff members were nice, but the receptionist was awful. When it came time to go into settlement talks she just wouldn't stop telling me what to do and never gave me time t...o decide. I had to make a decision immediately. She also told the terms to the other side without asking what I thought it was horrible!! I would absolutely NOT recommend her as an attorney.

Unfortunately, when you have to let staff go (for behavior problems), they post false reviews. Since none of the above information is true or relates to a client, it is obvious the source.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
