About Erika
Biography
Born and raised in Chesterfield County, Erika MacCormac attended the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University graduating magna cum laude with memberships in Gamma Beta Phi, Pi Sigma Alpha, and the Golden Key Society. She was also a columnist with the Collegiate Times.
After college, Erika attended the University of Richmond School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor with a Certification of Concentration in Family Law. In addition , she worked and served as a Teaching Assistant for the Jeannette Lipman Family Law Clinic. She was also Executive Editor of the Richmond Journal of Law and Public Interest, served on the University of Richmond Client Counseling and Negotiation Board, and earned first prize in Richmond’s Client Counseling Competition.
She spends most of her time in various Circuit Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court around the Commonwealth, as private counsel and as a Guardian ad litem.
Erika enjoys ballet, scrapbooking, singing in the choir and reading.

Incompetant attorney who should be disbarred!
I hired Ms. Maccormac for a couple of different legal matters involving family law. She did no trial preparation or investigating in order to prepare the case. If you want to lose custody of your children this is the attorney to hire. She doesn't really seem to care about your life or your childre...
