About Eric
Biography
I grew up in Bluefield, West Virginia and was valedictorian of the Bluefield High School Class of 1989. I enjoyed seven great years in Charlottesville, Virginia earning a bachelor's degree and law degree at the University of Virginia. Living and practicing law in Richmond, Virginia (RVA) since 1996, I have strived to be active in the community through organizations such as the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce, Henrico Business Leaders, Richmond Tennis Association, Gayton Baptist Church, and Short Pump Rotary Club. In 2010, I spearheaded RVA's bid to win the USTA's Best Tennis Town contest (we finished 3rd out of over 80 entrants and received a $25,000 grant to promote tennis throughout the community).
I have authored or co-authored three books, the most recent of which is a book celebrating over a century of tennis history in Richmond, Virginia. The sales proceeds from that book (titled "Richmond - One of America's Best Tennis Towns") benefit the Richmond Tennis Association.
