Eileen M. Talamante

I cannot say enough good things about working with Eileen M. Talamante. Medical law is a world of it’s own and I do not believe all lawyers can offer the same experience and help. Eileen is also a registered nurse, by the way. When I was dealing with the Board of Nursing and HPMP she not only knew t...he ins and outs of both entities, but she knew all the people that worked for each on a first name basis. During one the most uncertain, and difficult times in my life she was by my side and I feel like she really stood up for me and had my back. I can not imagine going through this without her and her team behind me. I feel like she really cared about my life and the outcome of our case. She explained to me everything that was going to happen and the possible outcomes so I did not feel completely lost and afraid of the unknown. She was honest and did not sugarcoat. I always knew what was going, what my part was and what I needed to do. When the case was thrown out, she called me because she wanted to be the first to let me know in person the outcome. She was almost as excited as I was. Bottom line, I have a unrestricted license without any kind of record attached to it (as it should be.) My life could be in a very different situation right now if I had chosen to do this alone or if I had chosen a different lawyer. If you are facing any of the medical boards and know you are a good practitioner, I highly recommend using Eileen and her team of hard working, supportive and honest people.

I was investigated by the Board of Nursing and received notice of an informal hearing. Due to the complex nature of my situation, I knew I needed expert legal advice and representation. I hired Eileen for a nursing board hearing, and would do it over in a heartbeat. What drew me to her was that she was also an RN. She understood what I was going through and was compassionate. If you ever find yourself in a situation wherein you have to face the Board of Nursing to protect your license and career you absolutely want someone who is well experienced in the law as well as the ins and outs of hearings and cases handled by the Board! I was unfairly reported to the Board for fa...lse accusations against my nursing practice. Eileen took my unique case and made sure to research all angles, had all appropriate testing and evaluation done in advance, made sure to be in contact with me throughout the process and she ensured I felt protected throughout the very nerve-wrecking process. Due to Eileen's thorough preparation the accusation was dismissed completely and no orders were linked to my license. Both true and false accusations/complaints are filed against nurses at increasing rates and the Board is inundated with cases so it is absolutely pertinent to protect yourself with a lawyer who understands the profession of nursing as well as the law and the ins and outs of the Board of Health Professionals hearings. I can't imagine a more thorough and professional lawyer for such cases than Eileen Talamante!
