Nurse-Client

I recommend Eileen Talamante highly for nurses, this is the lawyer you need on your side when you hear from the board. Please contact Eileen when the board calls you or ask to meet with you initially. (I contacted Eileen after my Interview with the board, never do this the interview from the board di...d not document important details).Eileen is a listener she takes time to listen to the case. Her experience as a nurse and lawyer for nurses makes you comfortable in explaining all details honestly of what occurred. I was accused falsely of harming a patient. Eileen represented me by preparing me , informing me what I needed to get to her; due to COVID we never met , but we communicated over the phone and mostly by email. Her Legal Assistant, Tracey is excellent and patient. ( This is a great Team), I felt a lot of love from this team. I was accused in Sept 2018, Heard from the board in Jan 2019. Hired Eileen in June 2020; completed my paperwork to Eileen on 24th Jul 2020, received a response from Eileen Jul 29th, 2020 my case was closed. God has given me victory over my enemies.

RN client

I was recently faced with an investigation by the board of nursing. I was so glad that I had Eileen to guide me through this terrible experience. Eileen and her staff was very informative and knowledgeable about the process of board investigations. She worked with me throughout the process, and kn...ow I could not have made it through this ordeal without Eileen and her team. If anyone is facing a board investigation, I would recommend Eileen and her team.

nurse client

I was investigated by the Board of Nursing and received notice of an informal hearing. Due to the complex nature of my situation, I knew I needed expert legal advice and representation. From the first phone call with Ms Talamante and her team members Grace Knighton and Tracey Drewry, I felt more at e...ase and confident that I had made the right decision to hire them. They were very patient, kind, and informative. They walked me through every step of the process with expertise. They were also readily available and prompt regarding any questions or requests that I had. It also was comforting to know that Ms. Talamante is also a nurse, and is aware of the rapidly changing environment in the nursing profession. I cannot praise her enough! While a Board hearing is extremely stressful, I felt at ease knowing that I had a true professional representing me every step of the way. I feared that I was going to lose my license, but I only received a reprimand with no restrictions. I highly recommend her and her staff for any legal issues that a nurse may encounter! I could not have done this without her expertise!

Highly Recommend

I hired Eileen for a nursing board hearing, and would do it over in a heartbeat. What drew me to her was that she was also an RN. She understood what I was going through and was compassionate. She immediately made me feel comfortable from the first phone call and throughout the entire process. During... the course of preparation for the hearing she always made herself available. I feel she was well prepared and fought her hardest for my case. I would 100% hire her over again.

Experienced and thorough

If you ever find yourself in a situation wherein you have to face the Board of Nursing to protect your license and career you absolutely want someone who is well experienced in the law as well as the ins and outs of hearings and cases handled by the Board! I was unfairly reported to the Board for fa...lse accusations against my nursing practice. Eileen took my unique case and made sure to research all angles, had all appropriate testing and evaluation done in advance, made sure to be in contact with me throughout the process and she ensured I felt protected throughout the very nerve-wrecking process. Due to Eileen's thorough preparation the accusation was dismissed completely and no orders were linked to my license. Both true and false accusations/complaints are filed against nurses at increasing rates and the Board is inundated with cases so it is absolutely pertinent to protect yourself with a lawyer who understands the profession of nursing as well as the law and the ins and outs of the Board of Health Professionals hearings. I can't imagine a more thorough and professional lawyer for such cases than Eileen Talamante!
