Tamara Leigh Tucker

Tucker Law Firm, PLC provides expert legal assistance in the area of equine
law.  We have represented innumerable members of the equestrian community with respect to equine law issues.  We provide strategies and solutions for law issues that concern the ownership and business of horses.

For all breeds and disciplines, Tucker Law represents clients in litigation, helps
resolve equine disputes, drafts customized equine contracts, represents clients in horse industry disciplinary hearings, and incorporates equine businesses.

From a more personal standpoint, attorney Tamara Tucker has spent a lifetime riding and showing hunters throughout the East Coast, garnering tricolors at “AA” and “A” shows. She competed for her varsity college IHSA Team, qualifying twice for the National IHSA Horse Show with a 5th place finish at National in 1989.  Ms. Tucker has ridden and trained with National Hunter Hall of Fame trainer Roger Young, Judy Young, Tommy Serio, David Connors, Chris Wynne and Jen Alfano.  In addition to her riding and showing experience, Ms. Tucker managed a 500 acre, 100-horse facility in Virginia, served as her local horse show association’s President for several years, and regularly judged VHSA Associate shows.  Ms. Tucker manages and trains her own horses at the Tuckers’ Southriver Farm in Ruckersville, VA.
