I am the first and only attorney in Virginia who is board certified in Truck Accident Law. That means I have extensive experience handling injury and death claims involving truck crashes and other commercial motor vehicles.
Heavy truck crashes are different than car accident claims. You want an attorney who knows the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, who knows how to check hours of service violations, and who knows the technical aspects of trucking law. This includes knowledge and experience with black box data and downloads, telematics data, and the mechanical understanding of big trucks.
My practice includes handling serious injury claims of many types. I have taken traumatic brain injury (TBI) cases to verdict in trucking cases. Every case is different, but one notable case was where we obtained a total verdict of $2.2M for our client. This was particularly meaningful because the trucking insurer's highest settlement offer before trial was only $125,000.
We also have deep experience helping people who have suffered debilitating spinal cord injuries resulting in paralysis or partial claims require intense medical knowledge mixed with understanding of legal concepts. We will work closely with leading medical experts to design a care plan for all needed future medical care.
Finally, I have helped many families fight for a loved one whose life was cut short because of another's negligence. I unfortunately have experienced deep grief in my life and have used that as a way to help those who are also hurting.
Call me today if you'd like to discuss a case.
