fantastic representation

I absolutely and unequivocally recommend Kyle Farmer! I hired Kyle to represent me in what turned out to be a highly contentious divorce that included court appearances for a restraining order issued against my ex husband, a deposition, and a day-and-a-half trial - despite *many* attempts to reach a...greement before ultimately going trial. My entire case was wrapped up 11 months after I made contact with Kyle, in part because of his pro-active planning, organization, execution, and expertise. While I would not wish such a horrendous ordeal on anyone, I can say very confidently that there is no one I'd rather have represent me than Kyle. During court hearings and trial, Kyle was extremely professional and unflappable. He is polished, articulate, and calm. Over the course of nearly a year's worth of phone calls and meetings, I appreciated how well Kyle worked to present me with choices, guiding me to understanding but always making clear that in the end, *I* was the decision-maker. Kyle's compassion was balanced with a very neutral perspective that he maintained at all times; this was helpful to me in avoiding knee-jerk reaction decisions on a few occasions. Additionally, Kyle's staff was equally easy to work with, and I found them to be highly professional and thorough in the execution of their assignments, as well as being courteous and friendly. In the end, the judge awarded me a custody schedule that was BETTER than what I had asked for. The opposing counsel in the trial informed Kyle that he had delivered "the best closing argument of any she'd heard." Kyle's inherent integrity, coupled with the respect he holds not only for the law but also for individual people, makes it clear that he is the only attorney you should consider hiring. I am forever grateful for the exceptional work he did in representing me.

Be wary of billing practices.

Many expect to receive padded bills from attorney representation. I experienced this with this attorney after my action was completed. There is a meeting listed on bill that never took place to my recollection. The amount held in trust was not refunded as he told me. Additionally, there is itemiz...ation down to "processing and email...file and print for client's file." You will hire 1 attorney and actually you'll hire at least 2. You meet with the lead and then next meeting a 2nd attorney is brought in for additional fee. They will want you to continue paying the 1st attorney because he is one of the PC's owners and "must review another licensed attorney's work." Once the #2 attorney is onboard, don't expect to be talking to Kyle outside of emails and phone messages.

I regret that this client was unhappy with the nature of the billing on his/her matter. I wish the client would have discussed with me directly any issues he had, as I am confident I could have clarified any confusion and resolved his/her concerns.

Highly recommendable!

I have used Kyle over the past 3-4 years. He was very knowledgeable, experienced, and humble in regards to his job. I received quick responses to emails and voicemails, usually before the day's end. He was very empathetic to my terrible situation, and made it very comfortable for me. I reside ou...t of state, so communication, responsiveness, and being direct was a requirement for me, which Kyle surpassed with flying colors. He helped me out, and I was granted more visitation, amongst other things, than the opposing party wished me to have. If I was in a similar situation again, I would retain Kyle in a heartbeat. I highly recommend him.

Adoption Case

I turned to Kyle for help and advice on adopting my wife's son. I only expected advice, but the same day I sent the e-mail he replied back letting me know that he would help me. He not only took on my case, but he did it pro bono. He was diligent and thorough in obtaining the information that we nee...ded to draw up the petition. He also respected and valued our privacy and safety while working on the case. He worked hard and even though he had other cases and clients, he was able to put in the petition for adoption in a timely manner. He helped my wife and to make our family legaly "a family." Truly a priceless gift.

Couldn't Be More Pleased

Having never had to hire a lawyer before I wasn't quite sure what to expect. At the very least I was hopeful that whomever I hired would be knowledgeable about the law. In addition to that I was also hoping that I would find someone that I liked. Personally liked. Going through a divorce requires tha...t you are going to have to share details about your life that in some cases a lot of people wouldn't even be comfortable sharing with close friends. Much less an attorney that you barely even know. What I found in Kyle was so much more. From the very first time I sat down to talk with him I immediately felt comfortable. No only did he have an obvious deep knowledge of the law but he was also very sympathetic of what it was personally that I was going through which made him very easy to talk to and to open up to about all that had gone on in my marriage. In my case that was quite a lot. I worked with Kyle for around 3 years from the first we spoke. During that time I don't even remember once where he didn't get back to me in what I would consider to be a timely fashion. There was once that MAYBE could have stepped outside the bounds of timely but even then I got an email apologizing for not getting to me sooner and an explanation as to why. Any time I had questions about the law he was able to explain it to me in a way that even I could understand. At NO time during my divorce did I ever feel uniformed. Not once. My favorite quality about Kyle? Not only is he an excellent lawyer he is also a good man. I believe he genuinely cared about me and what I was going through and wanted to help. It never felt like he was just "collecting a paycheck". I believe he loves what he does because he has a deep respect and profound love of the law but also because he enjoys helping people. If after reading this you would still be in doubt about hiring him I'll leave you with this. My ex-wife had a friend who was going through a divorce and she called me to get Kyle's info because she wanted to refer her friend to him. Trust me when I tell you that you won't be disappointed in the representation you receive if you choose to work with him.
