I contacted Ned about getting my Firearms rights restored with my Felony conviction.
He listened and then outlined both the process and the approximate timeline.
Ned asked the Court to allow me to appear by video since I no longer reside in VA and they agreed.
The hearing was short and the Judge restored my Firearms rights immediately.
I never thought I would be able to go to a gun range with my son again.
I am beyond grateful to Ned Michie.
He is a wonderful lawyer and a great person.
I highly recommend him.
When it became time to start the process of seeking to restore my gun rights, I did a simple google search for gun rights lawyers in Charlottesville. There I found Ned Michie, and I couldn't be happier.
His down to earth and straightforward approach on his website appealed to me. I prefer to work with straight shooters who may not even know how to blow sunshine. My experience with Ned is that he is exactly what he says he is. He has adapted to the 21st century of work style and passes on cost savings. He is honest and clear. He makes no promises, but lays out the best possible plan and approach. Through his guidance and strategy, I successfully had my rights restored on Tuesday January 26, by the Honorable Judge Richard E. Moore. I cannot be more pleased and cannot offer a higher recommendation.
Experience matters in handling workers' compensation cases and having an experienced attorney on your side gives you the best chance of getting the best result. Work injuries can last a lifetime; so get the benefits you deserve.
Any 1st or 2nd class misdemeanor carries the possibility of significant jail time. Take them seriously. Having an experienced lawyer gives you the best chance of getting the best result available.
These are very technical cases. Even if you think you are guilty the prosecutor has the burden to prove it, and may not be able to do so. Convictions carry a wide range of potential punishments; so put an Experience Lawyer on your side.
I've been handling personal injury cases for 30+ years. I've even successfully handled extremely complex P.I. cases with multiple defendants and multiple defense lawyers. I'm now selective about the cases I take, but call me.
Unfortunately, in Virginia convictions can not really be expunged. If you were found not guilty or the charge was dismissed, however, then the record of your arrest can potentially be expunged. Call me to talk about your situation.
An attorney's level of experience matters! There has been an unbroken string of my Michie ancestors practicing law in central Virginia since the early 1800's. I’m proud to carry on this tradition, and during my own 30+ years of legal experience, I've been honored to be chosen by multiple lawyers and law professors for legal representation of themselves or their family members. I've also represented a starting quarterback at UVa.
