About me

I grew up in a small fishing village in rural Alaska, where my parents still live.  I met my wife while attending law school at Cornell University in Ithaca New York.  I clerked for the Honorable Jonathan H. Link, J.S.C. in Alaska, and worked for the international law firm of Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe.  I thereafter relocated to the New York metropolitan area where my wife was working as a tax attorney.  From 1998-2004 I was employed as litigation counsel by the law firm of Lowenstein Sandler, PC.  In 2007, our family relocated to Charlottesville, Virginia, where I accepted employment as the Director of the Blue Ridge UniServ, a division of the Virginia Education Association.  I joined the law firm of Jones & Green in 2014, and now focus my practice on litigation and employment law.  I am a Third Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and in my free time, I enjoy training my daughter and my wife.  I am an active member of Crozet United Methodist Church, where I have served as the Chair of the Staff Pastor Parish Committee and as a member of the Ad Board.  I also teach children and adult Sunday School.
