Doug Whipple facilitates business. He honed his business legal acumen as an M&A partner at an AmLaw top 50 firm where he represented companies like Harman International and sat across the table from the likes of DaimlerChrylser, BMW, Philips and Audi. Today, in his own practice, he helps small, mid-sized and large businesses manage many of their transactional business risks. If you have a need for business counsel, whether it's getting up and running or making sure you're covered in that contract, contact Doug for top-notch, affordable representation.
Doug began practice at Jones Day's New York office in 1988, where he joined the M&A group. After helping build Jones Day's Frankfurt office, running the Budapest office, and becoming a partner in the firm, he moved to the DC Metro area where he started his own private practice focused on small to medium-sized businesses.
Doug holds a B.A. in Computer Science from NYU (cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and received joint degrees in law (J.D. cum laude Georgetown 1988) and Foreign Service (M.S. with honors in International Business from Georgetown 1988).
