I am an international student in gradate school. It was my first time of speeding and was charged for reckless driving (90+/60). I did not even know what would be the consequences until I consult several lawyers in my area. I was so anxious and scared that I might even go to jail or expelled from the... country because of the charge. I was doomed. Nevertheless, I am very glad that I was referred by my school's legal service to consult Mr Early. I also verified on the internet that he has really good records over the years. So I scheduled a phone chat with him, and I was so impressed by his professionalism and caring personality so I immediately decided to hire him. In contrast, most other lawyers I consulted simply scares me of the bad consequences and thereby 'threat' me with some unreasonably high fees. If you are in the similar situation with me, I would highly recommend you to at least schedule a chat with him. Indeed, it turns out to be a perfect decision, as Jeff totally knows his stuff. He asked me to obtain the necessary materials and managed to lower the charge to improper driving with the requirement to do 30hr's community service in a month. However it was hard to find community service during the pandemic. Again Jeff helped me to extend the timeline to 4 months. In the end, I am very satisfied with the outcome and really thankful for Jeff's dedicated services.

DUI

I was charged with DUI, Refusal to Submit to a Breathalyzer, Eluding, and Failure to Obey a Highway Sign. Mr. Early was very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. He kept me well informed about my case which made the experience a lot less stressful. Mr. Early gave sound legal advi...ce and then allowed me to make the important decisions. After numerous negotiations with the prosecutor and several interviews with the arresting officer, Mr. Early successfully had the DUI and Failure to Obey a Highway Sign charges nolle prossed. During his negotiations he was also able to have the Refusal to Submit to a Breathalyzer charge amended to Reckless Driving. Final charges were Reckless Driving and Eluding. This is a far better outcome than I had anticipated and could not have done it without Mr. Early’s representation. I highly recommend Jeff Early for any of your legal advice.

In July of this year, I made an unbelievably stupid choice that resulted in my facing Felony charges with the potential penalty of years behind bars. Jeff was recommended to me as the go to attorney in the Charlottesville area by an attorney with a very perstigious law firm in Richmond, VA with w...hom my employer does business. Jeff agreed to see me shortly after I contacted his office and he was retained by my wife and I without hesitation during our first meeting due to his professional, non-judgemental and pragmatic approach to my case. Without going into much more detail, Jeff was able to get the charges reduced to a Misdemeanor (for which I am forever in his debt) and I am currently in the process of putting the consequences of the unbelievably choice I made in July behind me. I still have to give the Commonwealth its'pound of flesh, so to say, but I am able to do it now in a way that is somewhat on my terms and that, once completed, I will be able to move on from with no lingering affects.
