Unprofessional!!!!!

I have never met a more unprofessional lawyer in my life. I have never seen a lawyer get in his feelings and get out of character about something he did wrong. He never answers the phone. He ghosted my calls several times. Finally answers in a text. I texted back with a assertive text and thanked... him at the end of the text. He instantly thought I was attacking him. He gets out of character and start bombing me with foul threatening texts. Calling the cops. Lol for what because i texted you. all he had to do was answer the phone when his client was calling the 1st time 2 days ago. Now keep in mind the client is in jail stressing about if they gonna get a bed in rehab or if they'll have to go back to the streets and possibly take a chance with there addiction. Gh And go about his day and with his family that he supposedly was on vacation with. He broke rule 1.3 and 1.4 of the American Bar Association (ABA) Model Rules of Professional Conduct. Please see below: The Ethical Rules Broken: ●Failure to Maintain Communication (Rule 1.4): A lawyer is ethically required to keep clients reasonably informed and promptly comply with reasonable requests for information. Going off the grid without warning violates this rule. Lack of Diligence (Rule 1.3): ●Lawyers must act with reasonable diligence and promptness. They cannot allow a client's case or peace of mind to languish just because they are out of the office. Improper Vacation Planning: ●While lawyers are absolutely entitled to take vacations, they are required to do so ethically. This means setting up automated "out of office" email/voicemail replies, notifying clients in advance, or delegating urgent matters to another attorney at the firm

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
