Biography
Timothy M. Mayfield is an general practice attorney with an emphasis on litigation who assists clients in multiple areas including domestic relations, criminal law, business litigation, landlord-tenant and estate planning. Timothy grew up in Clarke County and graduated from John Handley High School. He earned a B.A. in Anthropology, Archaeology and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia in 2000 and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2003. He was first admitted to practice in Oregon in 2003 and then in Virginia in 2005. Mr. Mayfield began practice in Winchester at Adams and Jones, PLC in 2005 and has been with Harrison & Johnston, PLC, since 2011. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Laurel Center and the Clermont Foundation and has served on several other community non-profit boards. He was President of the Winchester-Frederick County Bar Association from 2014-15.
