Mr. Furlong's understudy reviewed my case, which turned out to be a rather difficult one to sway in my favor. They were both familiar with local laws and pulled out two choices for how to reduce my charge. I ended up only being charged with a simple traffic violation (VA State Police can be very understanding of circumstances sometimes so give them a chance) and didn't need his legal representation (THIS TIME aka if the situation was to ever arise again I would retain him in a HEARTBEAT). Although, Simply his legal advice and him answering the phone on a Sunday evening after no contact for a year as if I was his full time client was extremely sincere and professional. In fact, he told me he was heading into another meeting with a client (On a Sunday evening around 6pm) so he wouldn't be able to answer again for about a hour. Meeting with a client on a Sunday evening while answering over a year inactive client's phone calls?? OUTSTANDING!! Mr Furlong not only did my bankruptcy but also explained to me the procedure. He made sure I knew what was going to happen every step of the way and kept me from freaking out. Very good lawyer! Expensive but you pay what it takes to get excellent representation. He told us straight up what to expect and things happened as he predicted. He never lied to us and he fought hard in court. He was the only lawyer that used case law and knew the police procedures, probably becaus...e he used to be one. He worked with us on fees, but I wanted the best attorney for my boy so I went with Mr. Furlong. I hired other lawyers before and wasted money.
