I don't even know where to start with how extraordinary the quality of service you're going to be provided when you hire this honest, straight narrow, knowledgeable & cunning life saver in the form of attorney. As a recent college graduate I was traveling 12 hours from SC to NJ and I received a speeding ticket in Spotsylvania VA going 105/70. I'm pretty sure I wasn't going that fast but Furlong was willing to work with me LAST MINUTE to take my case. I literally called and talked to his paralegal at 1am in the morning about my case 3-4 days prior to my court date. (CRAZY RIGHT!!?!) That's how skilled of attorney he is, to take on such perilous cases with short notice and poise!! Surely I was looking at 5+ days jail time and suspended license. Furlong worked with me to build a strong case proving my innocence and WINNING my case NO JAILTIME 30 days suspended license!!! Mr. Furlong and his amazing paralegal Jessica are by far beyond understanding and excellent people. I researched long and hard about the best attorneys in my area and decided to go with him after I read about all his experience. I was arrested and charged with 6 felonies and 2 misdemeanor's and after... almost a year he has successfully reduced my charges to half and got me guidelines that recommend probation. Mr. Furlong is by far the most experienced, professional, knowledgeable, sincere, lawyer in the state of Virginia. He helped my best friend out of a DUI case over 5 years ago and that's who I was recommended by. Last year I retained him for a Marijuana possession charge and he got it dropped to parap...hernalia with only a 200 dollar fine. No loss of license, No community service, just a simple fine. Even the cop that day said I had a very nice lawyer and should be thankful things went they way they did because of him. If the arresting officer is telling you, you have a good lawyer... I ended up only being charged with a simple traffic violation (VA State Police can be very understanding of circumstances sometimes so give them a chance) and didn't need his legal representation (THIS TIME aka if the situation was to ever arise again I would retain him in a HEARTBEAT). Although, Simply his legal advice and him answering the phone on a Sunday evening after no contact for a year as if I was his full time client was extremely sincere and professional. Very good lawyer! Expensive but you pay what it takes to get excellent representation. He told us straight up what to expect and things happened as he predicted. He never lied to us and he fought hard in court. He was the only lawyer that used case law and knew the police procedures, probably becaus...e he used to be one. He worked with us on fees, but I wanted the best attorney for my boy so I went with Mr. Furlong. I hired other lawyers before and wasted money. He tells you the good news and bad, instead of snowing you like other lawyers. I gave his card to my whole family. Good honest man.
