I got a reckless driving ticket driving at 107mph on a 55mph highway in Fairfax County, Virginia. I was driving from IAD airport to my home in Maryland. I am a Maryland resident and never knew about Virginia strict traffic laws. I found out about this law firm through Google (5 star rating attracted ...me!). I never contacted any other firms and got so much hooked with this firm rightaway that I didn’t even bother to get advice from any other firm. After getting the ticket I was so much worried and terrified about my future since I was just about to graduate. Mr. Fitzgerald called me up and told me to just follow his advice like taking driving improvement class, doing speed calibration test and doing community services. I did everything he asked me to do and the day when we met at Court, he told me that at this speed it’s highly unlikely to get away from getting jail time or misdemeanor. Afterwards when he went inside, it took him only 30 minutes with the judge/prosecutor to convert the whole case and get it reduced to just an improper driving. I was just blown away and shocked at the same time, because in such cases there is no hope to succeed. I would highly appreciate and thanks Mr. Fitzgerald for all his efforts and dedication. I was dealing with a reckless driving ticket at 100mph in a 55 in FAIRFAX of all places. This was not my first reckless either and I was in very hot water. Long story short Fitz got together with the prosecutor and I walked out of the court room with a 100 dollar fine, my license still in possession, and no jail time. In doing his research into the charge levied against me "Fitz" discovered the Stafford County Sheriffs had incorrectly charged me with a felony. Fitz correctly got the charge reduced to a misdemeanor and the case was then settled with time already served. His diligence kept me from any potential ...of being wrongfully convicted of a bogus felony charge.
