I had the odds stacked against me--I have a fast car + I was driving in triple digit speed + I did this in the worst state to get a speeding ticket. It didn't help that I had a prior speeding ticket conviction within the past several years. It was dropped from a misdemeanor, which would have ended up on my criminal record permanently, to a traffic violation which I paid right then and there.
