Edward Joseph O'Shea III

If you're a defense attorney in Fredericksburg, be wary of Edward O'Shea. During his short tenure as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Harrisonburg-Rockingham County, O'Shea made repeated statements in court, during Bond & Preliminary Hearings, featuring information detrimental to the accused, ...which, curiously, almost always came to him by telephone, in his office, late in the evening. He never offered any proof of the veracity of these statements, citing the sources them only as "confidential sources". He was widely distrusted then and should be distrusted now. I was a witness to many of these statements and was not surprised when I learned that it was suggested to him that he would perhaps be happier elsewhere.
