Rakin Hamad is a graduate of the George Mason Law School and joined Curcio Law as an associate in August 2018. Rakin works closely with Tom Curcio and staff in preparing cases from the initial client meeting through trial and has been a perfect fit for the firm.
During law school, Rakin interned at the Virginia Court of Appeals and was a member of the George Mason Law Review, the trial advocacy association, and the pro bono society. In 2016, Rakin also served as program director of the National Youth Justice Alliance.
In 2015, Rakin graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech, Rakin was a member of the Honor Society Gamma Beta Phi and served as the philanthropy chair of Delta Kappa Epsilon. Rakin has lived in Northern Virginia for the majority of his life and presently resides in Fairfax.
Outside of the office Rakin enjoys playing sports, especially basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.
