Compassionate, smart and creative

I had the pleasure of working withe Rachel Buker on a contract breach case issue for creative work. She took on a case that was by all measures uncertain in terms of its outcome. She believed in me and did her utmost to effectuate a good result, effectively negotiating a settlement on my behalf. ... The matters were emotional and difficult but she helped to keep the stress low, even when I was difficult. She is a fighter with grace. I am grateful to her for the creative and compassionate approach she took to solving my issue.

Innovative Strategies and Knowledgable

Working along with Ms. Buker was great. I was most impressed with her prompt responses and keeping me informed on our case. She is exceptional, knowledgable and finds creative strategies to approach your case. We had a large corporate suit and Ms. Buker made it feel less daunting for me in the pr...ocess. She also handled most of the case with ease and gave me peace of mind. She never failed to consult with me on a number of occasions to ensure I was still a part of the decision making process; I rarely saw the ugly side. As a business owner I know how difficult that is. Ms. Buker always followed through, was honest and I look forward to working with her again in the future!

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Rachel's an awesome attorney. We've worked together on a number of trademark and copyright issues and I'm continually impressed with her knowledge. She's wise beyond her years. And tenacious. You really want Rachel on your side -- not working for your opponent. Her background as an artist gives her extra insight when working with authors, artists, and musicians. She's a great worker, super-personable, and smart. Whether you're in litigation or need strategic advice, you'd be lucky to have Rachel as your intellectual property lawyer."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
