AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We felt completely disrespected by this poor excuse for a lawyer. No one should feel like we were made to feel. Did not get the services that we had expected. Expectations were not met much once they had our retainer. Lawyer seemed very unprepared during our few phone calls and eventually became ...harder and harder to get communication from. Once we decided to fire the firm, it was like pulling teeth to get our money back. Two other lawyers outside the firm had to make multiple calls before the lawyer at the firm finally completed the documentation for us to get a paltry remainder back of our initial retainer. We felt like for around $2000 of work that we should have received much more. Essentially we couldn't really say we got much at all. We had to get a new lawyer at a different firm that could actually get the job done.

Unprofessional

I hired this attorney summer of 2016 to handle my case. However, like the previous review he never returned my calls and emails and did not release my funds that was intended to be given to a third party. I had to file a complaint to the State bar and he received a Private Admonition for not releasin...g my funds.

BAD REPRESENTATION

I recently hired this law firm to represent me in a real estate matter. As so the lawyer got his retainer check, he stop responding to emails and phone calls. I tried repeatedly to contact my attorney Martin Yeager but his response was that he is too busy with other cases. Mr. Yeager didn't disclose ...important information about the property and I end up loosing my home. Please do not use Martin yaeger or his law firm. Vey unprofessional!!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
