OUTCOME: Partial Acquittal; Dishonorable Discharge, 4 months jail

Client charged with possessing and distributing child pornography. Litigated both allegations and client was found not guilty of distributing child pornography, but convicted of possessing it. Client ... received Dishonorable Discharge and 18 months confinement. However, filed a petition for habeas corpus based on new appellate law limiting the maximum amount of punishment for the offense. As a result, client was released from prison after only four months and will likely have the discharge set aside on appeal.
