Michael Jason Smith

Michael J. Smith joined Doumar Martin as a senior associate in February of 2017. His practice is concentrated on criminal, traffic, and civil litigation.  Mr. Smith graduated from the University of Virginia in 2004 with a B.A. in Foreign Affairs. In May 2007, he graduated cum laude from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a member of the Marquette Sports Law Review and active with the Marquette University Legal Clinic and Student Bar Association.  Mr. Smith also interned with the Milwaukee Public Defender’s Office.  He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia, the State of Georgia, and the State of Wisconsin and has actively been practicing since March 2008. Mr. Smith is also an active member of the Fairfax Bar Association
