James Fredrick Anderson

James F. Anderson was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania. He attended George Mason University's School of Law, where he focused his studies on estate planning, contracts, business law, and tax law; earning his J.D. in 2008. In law school, he participated in the Legal Clinic for Assistance to Service Members and Veterans and continued to assist the Legal Clinic as a supervising attorney after graduation. Since graduating, he has volunteered with the Wills for Heroes programs in Prince William and Fauquier counties (benefiting local police and other first responders) and has regularly presented programs on both basic and advanced estate planning to organized groups and members of the general public. At Arlington Law Group, he has reduced his litigation practice in order to focus on estate planning, client focused negotiations, and the creation of contracts and a wide variety of dispute resolution documents.  He continues to apply the lessons that he learned as a litigator to try to minimize potential future causes of conflict, and create positions of strength for clients involved in ongoing disputes.
