Mr. Dannenbaum cost me thousands of dollars with no resolution or work on my case. I eventually fired him. I'll start with his website advertising free consultations, yet I was charged $600 for a consultation that he was 45 minutes late for, despite my sending him a briefing document well before our ...scheduled call so he could prepare and maximize the time. In addition to being late and not reading my briefing document, I spent wasted time repeating background that I had given him well in advance. Additionally, he talks a lot, so I had to reel him in quite a few times when he would go off on tangents. I mistakenly retained him, and he did nothing on my case. He had one meeting with opposing counsel, refused to provide me with relevant notes or feedback, and then I had to chase him down for weeks to get status updates.

This man’s negligence resulted in me being trapped in a cycle of abuse that led to CPTSD for 3 years after my divorce. I was so trusting at my most vulnerable state in my life, and believed ethics and professionalism would result in a fair outcome. My ex husband got away with extreme fraud after me b...egging this man for help for years. He is manipulative and dismisses anything significant that you tell him. The fact he believed his presence was worth $400 an hour. He over bills and knows it. He my cares about making money for himself. I have no memories of my son the last several years due to this man’s negligence, and because the two year window closed to reopen divorce more easily I am fighting upstream. I will share my story publically and in hopes of creative system reform. This human being doesn’t deserve to practice law.

I went in for a consultation and considered hiring this lawyer. After two meetings, I decided he was not good for me. The 2nd time I met him was less than a month apart, however, this lawyer could not remember a single detail from the first time I consulted him. He watches the clock religiously and w...ill not respond to email with content but a simple "Call me" to make sure you are charged for any time on the phone. He made it difficult even to refund the remaining retainer that was unused. I do not recommend and am happy he is off my divorce case.

I looked for a lawyer who would support me the best when I was going through the most difficult situation in my life. I found him with Google recommendation. Unfortunately, his inability to remember the important events told, to prepare me for the case, to be unprepared, to ignore and postpone our m...eetings, to act with the other party's lawyer and to betray the law, put me in a difficult situation in the case I was right. Absolutely disappointment for me.
