We reached out to this law firm because of the positive reviews we saw via Yelp, etc. Unfortunately, our experience was not positive. We spoke with Michael Sandler in October 2024 regarding filing a new Chapter 7 case once our Chapter 13 was dismissed in Feb 2025. We were given clear details on w...hat to expect; along with the available payment options. Once we were ready to move forward, we contacted Michael on the 20th of January to advise him that we were ready to move forward. My wife mailed his office a large amount of paperwork via 2-day priority shipping which was received on the 24th after attempting to be delivered on the 23rd but he had left the office earlier than his normal office hours without advance notice. From January 20th to February 3rd, we have had to follow back up with Michael over 3 times by both text and email. It took him 7 days to let us know that our bank statements were just too much for him to handle. We even offered to help him with the process to alleviate any further confusion. We have a record of every email exchange between him and myself. As of February 3rd, we are now being advised that he would be "passing" on assisting us with filling our new CH 7 case because we were in such a "rush" This is not how anyone should do business. We were extremely patient with him throughout this entire exchange just to be told "I will pass" and now have to find another lawyer who can help us in such a short period of time. If you are looking for a lawyer that believes in delivering exceptional customer service, go elsewhere and with a firm that has a dedicated support staff with educated paralegals available who can help with the "workload".
