Ferheen is one of the best immigration lawyers I've come across in the DC/NOVA area. She was extremely helpful and straight forward with me and my family from day one and carefully explained our options. The situation I was in when I reached out to Ferheen was not at all normal. I was supposed to send my joint application the next day of the day I got to know that my husband gave me divorce without my knowledge in a different state from where I lived ( I know it's crazy but true). Of course I had no... idea what to do and how my application will be processed. One of my known referred me to Ferheen and she made me feel comfortable on our very first call. She agreed on taking my case in 2016 and our journey started. It took 33 months for my application to process. In between I had to renew my work status thrice, and you can imagine the kind of questions and concerns I might have had during that time. Ferheen patiently replied on my every single question. She never stopped me from calling her, and gave e enough time. She explained the process, answered every question I had, and cleared all my doubts. I can actually say that she was with me on every step of my journey of this process. She helped me when I didn't know what to do and where to go. After 33 months of wait my application was approved. Before my interview she spent an hour preparing me with the questions I could expect at the interview. My permanent green card is now on it's way. Ferheen is a very good immigration lawyer. She handled my employment based case. I got my green card last week. She talked ot us ahead of time and ...sent us a list of thigns she needed from us to start the process. As any application process, our application had a few missing pieces (international birth certificates etc). The immigration application process tends to be drawn out/sressful and we would email her about the status. Ferheen would always respond in 24 hours with exact details and next steps. She also checks in with you at appropriate times to make sure you are aware of upcoming deadlines (example health certificate).
