Alan Plevy represented me on my divorce. I paid him close to $40,000 to prepare the Pendente Lite, all the filings and prepare a settlement. Near the court date and after my ex withdrew all of our retirement, Alan discovered he never entered the Pendente Lite into the court record after the hearing ...for that first filed document. The entire case was built using that Pendente Lite so my settlement documents were no longer valid. I asked Alan to fix the issues he created by not doing the job and he withdrew from the case. I fought the withdraw to force him to fix the problem and he called me a hostile client. The judge ruled in his favor. Alan Plevy never gave me a cent back and billed me another $8-$9,000. I had to hire another attorney who said my case was so bad, he really didn’t know what the outcome would be. Alan Plevy was the worst representation I could have gotten. Stay away from this guy.
