Failed to respond, does not understand privacy, and dismissive of my concerns

I am in the process of setting up a trust and am looking for a lawyer to help me arrange that. I contacted Mr. Fuller around 2:30pm on a Thursday and spoke to his assistant. She said she would send me a questionnaire to fill out, and we agreed that Mr. Fuller would contact me at 4pm. His assistant em...ailed me the questionnaire. I reserved a small conference room at work, and sat ... and Mr. Fuller never called. He did not call back on Friday, either. I looked over the questionnaire, and -- not surprisingly for a trust -- it requested a lot of personal information (e.g., my full name, DOB, and SSN, as well as similar information for my wife and children; banking institutions and approximate balance information). That is all very reasonable and necessary information. However, Mr. Fuller's office explicitly requested that I return this information via *e-mail*. I am a computer professional, and I simply will not return a wealth of private information -- with a roadmap for identity theft and fraud -- over an unencrypted and insecure connection. That was not an acceptable security practice in 1994, and it certainly shouldn't be considered acceptable 20 years later. I finally called Mr. Fuller again the following Monday, and said that I would be more than willing to drop the questionnaire off in person and we could go from there. He personally reiterated that I should return this wealth of private information via insecure email. I told him I was a computer professional and did not feel comfortable doing that, but would more than happy to drop the questionnaire off in person. Mr. Fuller sighed heavily, and said (almost sarcastically) "you can certainly bring the questionnaire back in person, but you'll be handing it to my assistant and not me directly. Do you feel comfortable doing *that*?" At this point the conversation was over. Mr. Fuller may be a good attorney, but during my interactions with his office, he had little grasp of privacy or security, and was utterly and immaturely dismissive of my concerns and came across as unwilling to work with me. I will most certainly be retaining a different lawyer.

Recommend Highly!

As conservator for a nursing home-bound client in a neighboring county, I was faced with a barrage of overwhelming problems and received absolutely no assistance from the local attorney. Upon receiving a foreclosure notice from the reverse mortgage company on my client's home, which had just suffere...d arson, I met with Gary Fuller for a consultation and immediately hired him to help with the myriad problems I was facing regarding the property and the possibilities of declaring bankruptcy on behalf of my client. Gary was a blessing. Not only did he take the weight off my shoulders but he dealt with an impossibly frustrating mortgage company with excellent professionalism and patience, explaining each step to me along the way. He even seemed to relish the challenges posed in the case, always maintaining a positive outlook combined with a good sense of humor. With Gary's unwavering help during a difficult and long process, we managed to sell the property to a local developer. I am so thankful to have found him and would have no hesitation in hiring him in the future, or in recommending him to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, attentive, responsive attorney.

Empathic and Efficient team

Gary and his assistant Karen helped me with a bankruptcy that I was very apprehensive about doing. They met with me whenever I needed to- were extremely responsive to my often incessant emails. They worked around my schedule and met my every need with accuracy and care. It was such a pleasure work...ing more closely with Karen to obtain the needed information and finally upon the day of filing, I met with Gary and he was able to comfort me and walk me through the process step by step. I felt very comfortable in their office- the receptionist was always friendly and accommodating. Overall, I'd gladly refer Gary and his team and rate their services as excellent. It was not only a weight lifted off my shoulders when I completed the filing, but it was their warmth and concern that left me with the feeling of relief, that I have good people backing me up.

Professional and knowledgeable Attorney

Gary fuller is a very knowledgeable attorney, I had two dealings with him and was pleased with both instances. three years ago I had a need for a power of attorney for my mothers affairs and he was helpful in explaining the ins and outs of the situation. Last June Gary was the attorney doing the ti...tling work for my home purchase I was pleased once again with the ease of my home purchase. Gary took the time to go over everything top to bottom making sure we fully understood everything correctly before closing on our house. He helped make my first home purchase an excellent experience.
