When we consulted this attorney, he told me that our case was "going to be very easy", because I am a U.S. citizen and is the rest of my family (with the exception of my husband of course). However, he only asked for one file, and hardly informed us about our case. Whenever we tried to contact him, h...e wouldn't answer. Finally, we told him that my husband had considered starting the asylum process with our previous lawyer. We didn't want to try for asylum because we knew how these cases were hard to prove. He still assured us that we should try for asylum and ignored our questions about there being another way. Then, he didn't ask us for any evidence to prove it, and ignored us when we asked him what evidence he needed. The day for my husband's interview with the judge came, and the judge obviously told him "no" for his request of asylum due to a lack of evidence and other reasons. That day he told us that in order for him to get his papers, he had to leave the country. He assured us it would only be for 5-6 months and then he could come back. Well, after that he once again never contacted us again, and we just received a document saying that it would be for over 10 years. So basically, as soon as he got the money, he ignored us and didn't care about our case.

I would never recommend this lawyer to another person. I am a U.S. citizen who hired Anser to help my immigrant husband, who was detained in ICE custody, to get a green card. All my husband received was a deportation order. Anser did nothing in this case besides charge us $7,500. Unfortunately fo...r my family, I didn't realize all of Anser's mistakes until trial ... and then it was too late. Anser had asked me for some evidence, which I sent to him. He didn't file some of it with the court. He told us we only need one document to establish that my husband had been here for 11 years. At trial, the judge told us that one page of evidence was not enough to prove my husband was here for 11 years. He didn't submit evidence showing the huge hardship that our four children and I would suffer if my husband wasn't allowed to stay in the United States. He spent about 15 minutes in the jail with my husband preparing him to testify. He never met with me to prepare me to testify at the trial. Five minutes prior to my husband's immigration trial beginning, Anser told me that I had to testify that I would leave the United States with my husband and our children if my husband was deported. I told him that I couldn't leave the United States but he said if you want to win, you have to tell the judge you will leave the United States. The only time he spoke to me on the phone was when it was time to send payments. Other than that most of my calls were sent to voice mail and never returned. The worst thing about this process has been that the whole time Anser told my husband and me that my husband's case was an easy case to win and we had a 70% chance of winning. This was completely false. The immigration judge said that we didn't have enough evidence to prove anything. This was not because the evidence didn't exist but because Anser never asked me for this evidence and/or because he never filed the evidence that I did send to him. Stay away from this lawyer!
