Good Counselor

I use Sam as my "go-to" attorney. While I have only been with him a short time his counsel is excellent and his referrals were as well. Time will tell but so far I am happy with him.

Business advice session

Sam was very helpful and his advice was perfect for my unique situation. Thank you very much!!

An attorney for all seasons.

Sam is extremely erudite and yet able to communicate on a simple level, always explaining the situation and always keeping me calm. Bravo and Fortissimo.

Sam the Man & the Pharaohs

Sam was on point, terse but disheartening. As a lawyer who charges by the quarter-hour, he offers sage counsel and clearly is conscious, indeed mindful, of the passage of thyme! Succinct, he packed four or five minutes speaking into more than twenty minutes. Only three stars because he asked very few... questions.

Unexpectedly incompetent

We discussed a probate situation where my brother had recently passed. He agreed to take my case and provide me with all the necessary paperwork to close the probate process. Unfortunately, after several attempts to contact to Sam, when he DID respond, he said he was only a coach, and that was it. So... when I approached him with questions about my case, he kept responding vaguely, "I'm your coach." After several attempts to reach some understanding, I realized I needed to go with a real lawyer to remedy the situation in a timely manner. Best of luck.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
