Jessica Ann Lawless

I am a licensed attorney, admitted to practice in Virginia and multiple other jurisdictions, with a variety of legal experience across the private and public sectors in both civil and criminal litigation. Currently, my practice includes business transactions and commercial litigation, collections law and creditor's rights, as well as elder law and estate planning. I have also been certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia as a Guardian Ad Litem for Incapacitated Adults.

I was born and raised in Syracuse, New York, but have made the Washington D.C. metro-area, including Virginia, her home for over five years. I earned my law degree from the Washington College of Law at American University in 2012, where I was involved in the Trial Advocacy and Student Mentoring programs. During law school, I interned extensively with the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General and other federal government agencies. I received my Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University in 2008.
