Juan David Bustamante

Mr. Bustamante is an attorney at Kublan Khan, PLC practicing family and immigration law. Prior to joining Kublan Khan PLC, Mr. Bustamante worked as a J&DR Prosecutor for the Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office for several years, handling countless district court trials and several circuit court jury trials, including misdemeanors and serious felonies. Mr. Bustamante’s time as a J&DR prosecutor exposed him to special matters of domestic violence, juvenile crimes, and serious felony & gang crimes.

Mr. Bustamante obtained his Bachelor’s from the University of Massachusetts and Juris Doctorate degree from the New England Law | Boston (NELB). While at NELB, he practiced under the supervision of a licensed attorney for indigent clients in matters including eviction and tenant disputes, bankruptcy and foreclosures, criminal expungements, and criminal defense with the local public defender’s office. After graduating from law school, Mr. Bustamante began his legal career by working in contract law, personal injury, and general tort litigation in the Commonwealth of Virginia & District of Columbia courts.

As a beneficiary of SIJS status himself at a young age, Mr. Bustamante provides a unique and personal understanding and perspective in the representation of his clients.

When not representing clients, Mr. Bustamante enjoys long distance runs in beautiful Fairfax County parks and trails with his dog and spending time with his wife by exploring the best restaurants the DMV’s area has to offer. A native of Massachusetts, he also enjoys cheering for his hometown teams while in enemy territory.
