Biography
Rebecca received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame in 2010. In 2016, she graduated magna cum laude from The Catholic University of America with both her Juris Doctor and Master’s in Social Work. She is admitted to practice law in Virginia and Maryland.
Following graduation, Rebecca completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Michael R. Pearson in Prince George’s County Circuit Court. She subsequently became a prosecutor in Prince George’s County. Rebecca was assigned to the Special Victims and Family Violence Unit, litigating domestic violence cases involving spouses, parents and children, and intimate partners.
During law school, Rebecca assisted with representing low-income clients at Legal Services of Northern Virginia and as a student attorney with Columbus Community Legal Services. In these positions, she gained experience with child custody and divorce matters, protective order proceedings, and housing disputes.
Rebecca is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar.
