I had to deal with an extremely complex tax question relating to an inheritance I got overseas. I had tried working with at least half a dozen attorneys and CPAs and all I got where vague responses. The real challenge - how to apply US tax law to a foreign scenario - was not being addressed, and when... I prompted them to tell me a proper course of action, they never really committed. It was a horrible and stressful couple of months, until I came across Mishkin and his team. Mishkin took the time to really dig in with me in all aspects relating to the history of the land and the corporation involved, going back to 1981, with multiple legal events intermingled (investment into a company, inheritance, sales, etc..). Finally, all this work was done in an unbelievably short amount of time, as I only reached out to him for a second opinion with 10 days pending to the submission deadline.
