Since 1988, I have largely focused my legal practice in the public interest here in the U.S. and around the world defending religious freedom, the right to life, the rule of law and the right to equal access to justice for the poor and the needy.

While I started out in about1984 with the American Arbitration Association primarily doing labor and employment mediation and arbitration matters, today I primarily focus on conflict coaching, mediation and arbitration in land,family and marital disputes using the Guidelines for Chrsitain Concilaition issued by the INstitute for Christian Concilaition.

As a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court and a number of federal appellate courts , I have appeared either as counsel for a party or as counsel representing one or more "friends of the court" in matters raising issues of constitutional law, particularly the 1st Amendment rights of free sppech, press, assocaition and religious free exercise.
