Mr. Pickett was great in every aspect of my experience with him. His retainer wasn’t expensive, and from the beginning he treated me with the utmost fairness and respect. He was honest with me and told me I made a mistake, but gave me the guidelines to ensure there were no other serious ramifications... from my mistake. I would not recommend this lawyer on the grounds that he was ill-prepared for my case (he didn't even cross-examine the toxicologist's testimony). I was punished to the full extent of the law for a first-time misdemeanor, marijuana charge. I was also ordered to get the interlock ignition monitor pl...aced on my vehicle as a condition of my restricted license, however, I wasn't even convicted of alcohol intoxication. I was simply racially profiled which he didn't even want to touch and ultimately, convicted of a DUI with a BAC (THC only might I add) of .06 which is below the intoxication limit in Virginia. How this man was allowed to completely misrepresent me is truly a miscarriage of justice.
