We hired Miriam to review and update our family estate documents. I am a (retired) attorney in an unrelated field, and my spouse is most definitely not a lawyer! Miriam answered all our questions, simple or complex, in language we could both understand. She took a cost-effective approach to our pr...oject that built on what we had already had, without needlessly re-drafting documents, but replaced those that were out of date where needed. She was perfectly clear about the costs, providing us a fixed fee for the project that she did not exceed. She provided excellent hand-holding throughout the process. When one of the documents could not be completed for the last-minute lack of some details, Miriam later revised the missing document, had it executed, legalized, and incorporated into our family binder without additional charge.
