Absolutely Do Not Recommend

She inflated the bill and did not fight for my rights at any time during my divorce. She was rarely available and would disappear and be non-responsive for weeks at a time. She spent far too much time writing and editing the divorce agreement so that by the time it absolutely had to be signed, I ha...d to give in to everything my ex husband wanted. She cared more about her own pay than the fact that I was dirt poor due to this divorce and my ex husband's debt. I had to find another lawyer who said that he would never have advised me to sign that agreement. Now I'm stuck with a lopsided divorce and a massive bill that I have to pay for her incompetence.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
