Harold Thurman Hughlett

Harold Hughlett upfront seemed to be upstanding, well educated and respected among his local peers, but delivered me a legal experience so damaging, that I will be suffering the repercussions from it for years to come. A possible $10,000 case quickly turned into $30,000 over a full year of litigation..., costs were clearly not controlled despite being told everything was being done to do so. Unverifiable charges saturated bill after bill. In addition, Harold promised to protect my sensitive information in court, and gave me assurances that I would not be drug tested for any foreseeable reason, and when the judge asked if I would be willing to take "voluntary" testing to dismiss the claims made by the defendant, without any hard evidence whatsoever, he simply stared at me with a silent courtroom, all eyes were on me. Of course I'm going to take the testing. I have never abused drugs, or had any sort of criminal record to reflect such behavior. After court, Harold looked at me and said, "You better pee clean, or you're basically f***ed." This statement burned a hole in my heart and it still reverberates in my ear canal. Complete failure to look out for my best interests, sub par courtroom representation, all while demanding a whole lot of money for doing terrible work.
