Erik did not contact me until 1 day before the case went to trial, to talk about it and discuss our plan of action. He did not speak to any of my witnesses or subpoena anyone in my defense. To me, tenacity seemed to be lacking from his defense, at the trial, of me. Erik was difficult, if not impossib...le for me to contact, either by phone or email at times, and I did not try to contact him too often. I did not like the fact that Erik was not tenacious in any way, either before the trial in gathering evidence/talking to witnesses, or during the trial, defending me as during the trial he said very little. I had met with several other attorneys prior to choosing the one I am mentioning, and they were more expensive (and said the trial was very winnable for me). Thinking that there was no way to be convicted unless I had done what my accuser said, I went with the less expensive attorney and lost BIG time.
