Over the past 20 years that i operate my small restaurant, there had been 3 cases that i needed legal help.Mr. Appler chose to help me in 2 of the 3 cases and i have to certify that he resolved both cases in my favor without even going to the court house for litigation.In the first case a major corpo...ration had threaten o take legal action if we did not change our trade name.Even though he had only 1 similar case of this sort in the past, he still chose to help and he consulted with some expert in the field and he was able to get that major corporation off our back. In the second case in order to save big cost of litigation in another State, he advised that we should let them win that case in their turf. After winning that case,in order for them to be able to collect any damages from us they have to come and file a lawsuit in Virginia. And if they have any brain they would know that their case is not going to prevail in a Va court.And sure enough like Tom had predicted they wrote a letter expressing that they would not follow us in a Va. court.Tom could have complicated these cases and charge me a lot of money but that would not be Thomas Appler that we know.
