Mr. Macdonald does not come across as a fast talking lawyer who promises to have all the answers. But do not be fooled by his understated manner - he did have the answers for us. During the trial he knew what to say and more importantly, what not to say. As a result, the right and just verdict was returned. When the judge explained one of the principal factors in his verdict, he almost quoted Mr. Macdonald's pre-trial advice verbatim.
