Background: I am an active duty servicemember with 22 years of service. He notified me that due to the nature of the charges I would be held without bail. May 2020, I was arrested at my job and held without bail in Virginia while awaiting extradition to Maryland. I immediately called Mr. MacDonald and notified him of my arrest. Again he talked me through what to expect when I went before the magistrates. After 12 days I was extradited to Maryland. When I went to my bond review the deputy told me not to expect bond due to the nature of the charges. I was the ONLY one that was released on bond that day. Not only did I receive a bond but I was released on my own recognizance which is unheard of. I know that was mainly in part because of my attorney. November of 2020 Mr. MacDonald discovered evidence which resulted in the state dismissing all charges! Good lawyers aren't cheap and cheap lawyers aren't good! Back in February 2020 during the holiday weekend I got caught speeding in a speed trap right before entering Ocean City, MD. I didn't want to get points added to my driver license as traffic points have increased so much in VA. Then came the COVID-19 pandemic! My trial date was originally set for April, then postponed to June and again to October.
