Kathryn Ann Freed-Collier

Kathryn was my ex-husband's attorney through our divorce and she threatened me in writing and in court with crazy accusations. She is now my ex-finance's lawyer and is acting in the same manner. I told the judge during my protective order hearing I would not work with her on a settlement because of... her past threats. My ex was ordered to return my belongings to her and when I called her to follow up she threatened me again. She is the worst!

I paid this attorney to assist me with a complicated insurance claim denial. She wrote a demand letter for me in April. We expected it may take time to hear back. My husband left a message for her in May and received no response. In July she finally sent me the response from the insurance company, wh...ich she had received in May. She claimed to have lost my contact information. In August I emailed her to let her know I was collecting further information and considering filing suit. I contacted again October 1, and she claimed she had closed my case as she had not heard from me in “over a year.” I expressed my disappointment in her manner of doing business, explained the timeline of our communication, and told her I have obtained alternate counsel. She replied with an email telling me not to contact her further.
