This guy is not professional and cannot be trusted to diligently do his job correctly. My first conversation with him was normal so to speak. I got off the phone feeling like I had hired a great attorney, but those feelings were short lived. He is rude, passive aggressive, and not equipped to handle ...complicated cases. He has poor communication skills, and if he gets frustrated enough, he will hang up on you!!

If you have ANY REAL SERIOUS charges as far as Guns Assaults or something involving you doing REAL time you'd be better off representing yourself then going to court with Jacob Craven! This guy is not professional and cannot be trusted to diligently do his job correctly. My first correspondence with ...him was normal so to speak I got off the phone feeling like I had hired a good attorney but those feelings were short lived to say the least! After he was paid be immediately went into scare tactics trying to prep me to plead guilty. Saying things like "Frederick County has a habit of giving guys a lot of time if you go to trial and lose". My first in person meeting with him consisted of him adding up all the years of the charges I was facing and he said " If we go to trial we're facing potentially 65 years" I haven't killed anyone I don't have a felony on my record and I was facing an illegal poss of handgun and an alleged 1st Degree Assault. This guy doesn't write up retainer agreements. He never spoke about hiring a private investigator, he never once approached the situation as if he was ready to go in court and fight, he only spoke about taking plea deals which weren't even worth considering. If you have ANY REAL REGAURD about your life and going to prison you will NEVER hire a Jacob Craven.
