Timothy Thomas Conlon

I hired Mr. Conlon to represent me in my custody case. When I first met with him, he assured me that mine was an "open & shut case," and that there was no way my ex-husband would get what he was requesting. Tim was so confident, that he even assured me that my ex would be ordered to pay MY legal fees.... Throughout the year-long process, it was extremely difficult to get a hold of Tim when I had questions. Multiple meetings were scheduled with both Tim and his legal secretary, and on numerous occasions they either did not show up at all, or they showed up 45 minutes late. Nothing was ever done in regards to my case until a few days before (sometimes even 1 day before) my hearings/trials. I provided Tim with HUNDREDS of e-mails from my ex that would have COMPLETELY PROVEN MY CASE. At the trial, Tim did not present a single e-mail! The only 2 pieces of evidence that he submitted were a transcript from my first trial, and his bill! Both of which were completely useless. HE DID NOT PRESENT A SINGLE PIECE OF EVIDENCE IN MY DEFENSE, despite having numerous e-mails to prove that my ex was lying! In the end, not only did I not get awarded my legal fees, but I was ordered to pay my ex's legal fees AND ALMOST ENDED UP IN JAIL! In the end, I was ordered to pay more than $13,000 in legal fees for my ex and my children. That's ON TOP OF the $7,000 for Tim's fees! My child support was also reduced by 25%. For a single mother raising 4 young children, that's a major deal! I will likely end up having to file bankruptcy over all this. The worst part is, after filing a motion for a new trial on my behalf, Tim QUIT his job as my lawyer with NO EXPLANATION and NO DISCUSSION with me. He gave me no reason for why he was quitting, and did not have the decency to call me and tell me himself. He sent me a letter in the mail, like a coward. If you are looking for an attorney who is going to fight for you and put 100% effort into your case, do not hire Tim Conlon. His past experience is NOT indicative of his present capabilities.

Tim is a great family attorney – At first I was skeptical, he talked really good and amazed me with what he had to offer and insight. However, I did start reading reviews and some of which were not great at all and contradicted the amazing review. So I decided to ask Tim about these as I felt unsettl...ed after reading them, he was very open and honest explaining that review can be done by anyone, even the opposing party, whom at times will hold a grudge against him for representing their other half. This made sense to me and I felt much better. Needless to say, Tim’s actions thus far have spoken exactly to all his positive review, he has done everything he said, in the timeliness he said he would. He is organized, takes detailed notes, captures everything within all his petitions. He is always readily available to take my call and explains situations as needed when he is no in court or with another client. I recommend him. Don’t be swayed by negative review and miss out on an great lawyer with great prices.
