Biography
I graduated from Georgetown University Law School in 1997 and for 20 years I have practiced almost exclusively in the area of criminal law throughout the State of Maryland. Most recently, I was Deputy State’s Attorney for Caroline County, where I prosecuted major felonies including felony drug cases, sex abuse and child abuse cases and homicides. I have extensive trial experience in front of both juries and judges.
Prior to prosecuting, I practiced criminal defense for over ten years, handling well over a thousand cases ranging from major felonies to misdemeanors and juvenile matters. My past experience as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney has given me a thorough knowledge of both sides of the courtroom.
